Special Guests:

Sean Buchner SPT - Anatomy in Relation to Child Development

Sean, currently in his second year of his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, has been teaching anatomy to yoga students for two years. He owes his growth to the many yoga teachers who have inspired his interest in the anatomy of movement. Educated as an elementary teacher, Sean took the first step towards cultivating his dedication and excitement for anatomy five years ago through yoga teacher training. This initial frightening step was well worth it, as he is able to share with others his passion of anatomy and movement everyday. He is excited to be delivering his joy to inspire the love of learning about the body and movement in others in an interactive and fun environment.

Lindsey Thomas Leineck MS OTR RYT- Yoga on the Brain & Behavior

Lindsey has been a yoga practitioner and used yoga and mindfulness to support her life fully since 2000. She received her 200 hour Hatha yoga teacher certification from Yoga Yoga in Austin, TX in 2008, and her 100 hour Aerial Yoga Teacher certification from The Yoga Studio in Campbell, CA in 2012. She has also received Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Certification. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.

Additionally, she is a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas and registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Since 2003, Lindsey has gained experience as an Occupational Therapist working in a variety of rehabilitation settings with extensive training and experience in neurological rehabilitation, sensory processing and functional therapy in the community and home environment. She has also developed and created training programs for other therapists around her specialty topics of sensory processing, mindfulness, stress management and functional life changes.

Lindsey takes the synergies between occupational therapy and traditional Hatha yoga to create a fun, playful and therapeutic practice for kids. She also utilizes various aspects of partner yoga, acro-yoga and aerial yoga to bring parents and children to the mat together for an opportunity to bond, develop a playful dialogue, and break away from the modern day hustle to enjoy a mindful, fun practice.
